She is known as an American businesswoman, who runs an online store called Mary's Finds and also for appearing on the television show Storage Wars Texas. Mary Padian can also be referred to as the Junkster as well as the Junkyard Queen. She has a large collection of antiques that is sourced from auctions, estate sales, and storage units. Mary began her career as a photographer with Architectural Digest under Paige Rense. Then she started an personal Mary Finds segment. It was a series of videos focusing on renovating and decorating home interiors. After she returned to Texas and discovered a location to operate an antiques shop, and then started a new business. A&E Television producer noticed her when she was managing her antiques business, and asked her to join Texas Storage War. The show ran for three seasons. Due to her popularity, she got cast in the initial Storage Wars' fifth season. Storage Wars was a part of her life for the following seasons, and she has appeared both on and off the show up until the 12th season.
